This sunday Palmeiras played against Santos. Every Palmeiras fan was without hope that Palmeiras would win (execept Joao Pedro). This game I watch with Joao Pedro in his house. The best way to watch a game is with a friend. The game started and in a few seconds Santos scored the first goal. Joao couldn't believe what was happening, but I knew this was going to happen. To make things worse a few minutes later Santos scored the second goal. This was turning into a terryfing sunday. Joao and I were starting to abandon the game when...GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 42 of the first half Palmeiras scored a goal. Robert scored Palmeiras goal. Joao and I sat down instantly whith hope that Palmeiras would turn the game in the second half. But before the referree blew the wihistle to the end of the first half... GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Robert scored another one. In two minutes Palmeiras had tied the game with two beuatiful goals from Robert. The first half ended and Joao and I were very anxious to see the second half. The second half started with Palmeiras attacking a lot Santos. The chance to turn the game appeared when Cleiton Xavier from Palmeiras suffered the fault. He crossed the ball into the the area, someone heade the ball but it hit the post! It looked like the ball woudn't enter, but Diego Souza from Palmeiras apperead and headed the ball to the goal. GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Palmeiras had turned the game. Nobody (including Joao and I) couldn't believe what was happening. Palmeiras had turned the game. But this joy was taken away when Santos scored a goal and tied the game. The game was in the end with 44 of the second half when Lincon stole the ball and Robert kicked the ball outside the goalie's big area. GOLAÇO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RObert made PAlmeiras final goal. The game ended Palmeiras 4x3 Santos.

Joao was pretty confident on the team because he is really an optimistic guy, but I knew that Palmeiras chance to win were very slim. But when Palmeiras tied the game I really thought Palmeiras would turn the game. My smile faded away when Santos tied the game but I smiled again when Robert scored that beautiful goal. I can't explain how happy I felt.

This sunday Palmeiras played against Paysandu in Paysandu's home. This was an easy game, and Palmeiras fan were almost sure that Palmeiras would win. And the game was like that in the begginig becuase Palmeiras started scoring the firsat goal. This goal would halp a lot Palmeiras in the second game. But something unbelivable happened, Paysandu had scored a goal. Nobody could believe it. But even though Palmeiras was loosing a tie outside home is a good result. The time passed and Paysandu was groing in the game, attacking more and more. For the hope of Palmeiras' fans in the second half Palmeiras scored a goal. This result was very good for Palmeiras. The game ende Palmeiras 2x1 Paysandu.

I have to admit it, I wasn't interested in this game because I was sure Palmeiras would win. I would be very frustrated if Palmeiras had lost. But fortunately it didn't happen and Palmeiras won. But I got really scared and worried when Paysandu scored the goal, and then started attacking a lot. But now I have to see the second game of the round that is going top happen in Palmeiras home. Palmeiras can loose for at leats one goal, and if the game ties Palmeiras will still pass to the next round. I am pretty confident that Palmeiras will pass to the next round.

THis sunday Palmeiras played aginst Santo Andre in Palmeiras home. The game startted well with the two teams playing dangerously. Every one was expecting Palmeiras to win. UNfortunately the first goal was from Santo andre. I paralyzed instantly as I saw Palmeiras net balnce. I simply couldn't believe in what had happened. The game continued, but only got worse. Santo Andre scored another goal. My hopes were being destroyed little by little until Palmeiras scored a goal.The first half ended and i had a lot of hope Palmeiras would turn the game. The second half started and every minute that passed was ending my hope that Palmeiras would win. The referee Made the final whistle and the game ended Palmeiras 1x3 Sant Andre.

I couldn't believe what was happening. This was the seconde game Palmeiras lost with the new coach. Palmeiras won two important games but now was loosing the other games. He had to win the next game. But it aint an easy game. It will be against Santos. My hopes that Plameiras will start to win again was destroyed. Every single Palmeiras fan was without hope that Palmeiras wouls win. This has started to be a bad season for Palmeiras.

This wendsday Palmeiras played against Rio Claro in Palmeiras home. Palmeiras had a new coach that did miracles on the last two games, so everyone was believing Palmeiras would come out a winner. But, sadly, I was wrong. The game started and the two teams were playing well. Suddenly, its starts raining. Everyone, including me, thought the rain was npthing, until it started to disturb the game. In a few minutes the field was looking like a swimming pool. The players couldn't control the ball because of the water. Suddenly, in the middle of that water I slowly see a ball rolling into the net. I realised Rio Rio Claro scored the goal. The first half came to an end with Rio Claro in the lead. Even though Palmeiras was loosing every single PAlmeiras fans was cheering for Palmeiras, with hope that it would win, but sadly it didnt. The second half started but nothing sécial happened. The game ended Palmeiras 0x1 Rio Claro.

Even though Palmeiras lost I still think that this new coach will make the team better. Palmeiras lost but because of the rain, it wasn't the coach fault. I felt like this but the Palmeiras fans were really insatisfied because of the result. But if Palmeiras wins the next game I am sure the Palmeiras fans will start to cheer up again fo their team.

This weekend Palmeiras played against Flamengo do piaui, for the Copa do Brasil. In the first round, Palmeiras won against Flamengo do Piaui, in flamengo's home by one to zero. So, in this game Palmeiras only needed not to loose by two goals. If the game tied Palmeiras would continue to the next part of the championship. The game started well with Palmeiras attacking a lot of the game. Flamengo do Piaui attacked very few and thank God they didn't make a goal. In the 30 of the first time Palmeiras scored a goal. The crowd went wild, because now with the new coach eveybody thought Palmeiras was going to improve. The game only got better, in the second half Palmeiras scored three more goals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Flamengo do Piaui managed to make one goal, but everyone new it wouldn't alter the game's score. So the game ended Palmeiras 4x1 Flamengo do Piaui.

Finally every Palmeiras fans, including me thought that with the new coach Palmeiras, would finally start again to play the soccer Palmeiras plays. I have to admit in the start of the game I was pretty confident on Palmeiras, even though Palmeiras lost a lot of games, they won against their rival Sao Paulo, and now crushed Flamengo do Piaui. In my opinion the best thing Palmeiras did was to fire the old coach and call another one.

Palmeiras had a very important game aginst it rival, Sao Paulo, this weekend. Palmeiras had a new coach and everybody believed that this coach could make a difference. But in the first start of the match nothing happened. The two teams were attacking well but no goal was being made. The first half ended, and a part of me was afraid that Palmeiras was going to recieve a goal in the second half, but another part of me was with hope that Palmeiras would win this game. The second half started, and nothing happened until the 20 minutes, when finally a goal was made. Fortunately it was Palmeiras. Finally Palmeiras was going to win something. The goal was scored by Robert!!!!!!!!. If it wasn't eenogh that Palmeiras was winning Robert scored another goal in Sao Paulo, and for the first time again the crowd started shouting Palmeiras name again. The game ended happily for Palmeiras with the score Palmeiras 2x0 Sao Paulo.

I have to admit but even though Palmeiras had a new coach I was a little insecure about the team. But now with this win over Palmeiras rival Sao PAulo, I have a lot of hope that this new coach will make Palmeiras improve his soccer and win a championship this year.
