This sunday Palmeiras played against Santos. Every Palmeiras fan was without hope that Palmeiras would win (execept Joao Pedro). This game I watch with Joao Pedro in his house. The best way to watch a game is with a friend. The game started and in a few seconds Santos scored the first goal. Joao couldn't believe what was happening, but I knew this was going to happen. To make things worse a few minutes later Santos scored the second goal. This was turning into a terryfing sunday. Joao and I were starting to abandon the game when...GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 42 of the first half Palmeiras scored a goal. Robert scored Palmeiras goal. Joao and I sat down instantly whith hope that Palmeiras would turn the game in the second half. But before the referree blew the wihistle to the end of the first half... GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Robert scored another one. In two minutes Palmeiras had tied the game with two beuatiful goals from Robert. The first half ended and Joao and I were very anxious to see the second half. The second half started with Palmeiras attacking a lot Santos. The chance to turn the game appeared when Cleiton Xavier from Palmeiras suffered the fault. He crossed the ball into the the area, someone heade the ball but it hit the post! It looked like the ball woudn't enter, but Diego Souza from Palmeiras apperead and headed the ball to the goal. GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Palmeiras had turned the game. Nobody (including Joao and I) couldn't believe what was happening. Palmeiras had turned the game. But this joy was taken away when Santos scored a goal and tied the game. The game was in the end with 44 of the second half when Lincon stole the ball and Robert kicked the ball outside the goalie's big area. GOLAÇO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RObert made PAlmeiras final goal. The game ended Palmeiras 4x3 Santos.

Joao was pretty confident on the team because he is really an optimistic guy, but I knew that Palmeiras chance to win were very slim. But when Palmeiras tied the game I really thought Palmeiras would turn the game. My smile faded away when Santos tied the game but I smiled again when Robert scored that beautiful goal. I can't explain how happy I felt.

This sunday Palmeiras played against Paysandu in Paysandu's home. This was an easy game, and Palmeiras fan were almost sure that Palmeiras would win. And the game was like that in the begginig becuase Palmeiras started scoring the firsat goal. This goal would halp a lot Palmeiras in the second game. But something unbelivable happened, Paysandu had scored a goal. Nobody could believe it. But even though Palmeiras was loosing a tie outside home is a good result. The time passed and Paysandu was groing in the game, attacking more and more. For the hope of Palmeiras' fans in the second half Palmeiras scored a goal. This result was very good for Palmeiras. The game ende Palmeiras 2x1 Paysandu.

I have to admit it, I wasn't interested in this game because I was sure Palmeiras would win. I would be very frustrated if Palmeiras had lost. But fortunately it didn't happen and Palmeiras won. But I got really scared and worried when Paysandu scored the goal, and then started attacking a lot. But now I have to see the second game of the round that is going top happen in Palmeiras home. Palmeiras can loose for at leats one goal, and if the game ties Palmeiras will still pass to the next round. I am pretty confident that Palmeiras will pass to the next round.
