The campeonato paulista has started and Palmeiras played against Sao Caetano. Even though Palmeiras lost last year the Campeonato Brasileiro, this year everybody was confident that Palmeiras was going to do well. The game was in Palestra Italia, PAlmeiras home, and the game started well eith the two sides attacking a lot. Palmeiras had a lot of chances of scoring, but the ball woulnd't enter the goal. Then suddenly in a counter attack, Sao Caetano scores his first goal. To make things worst a few minutes later Sao Caetano scores again. Palmeiras was loosing by to goals in his own home to an ordinary team. BUt the reaction came and Palmeiras scored a goal. But Palmeiras happiness was soon chatterd, because Sao Caetano scored its third goal. The first half ended and Palmeiras was loosing by two goals. The crowd was insatisfied with the team and started criticizing it. But even though it looked like it couldn't get worse, it got. Sao Caetano made it fourth goal. The game ended, Palmeiras 1x4 Sao Caetano.

After Palmeiras lost the championship last year, I wasn't with a lot of hope this year would be better. But even thoungh I knew the situation was very bad for Palmeiras I still had a little light of hope in my heart. But this light was being destroyed at every game Palmeiras lost. But a new change in Palmeiras still kept that light shining. Palmeiras was to recieve a new coach. I thought this coach would make a difference in Palmeiras next game against Sao Paulo.
